Tip n°3 : what should I eat for a better sleep?
First of all, we will start with the things that you should avoid: the evening meal should not be too hearty and at least 1 hour and a half before going to bed.
In fact, the digestion increases body temperature which discriminates the arrival of sleep. Also avoid foods that are difficult to digest, it varies from one person to
another, so you be the judge to decide which food is more or less suitable.
The final items to be avoided are:
- Tobacco, try smoking your last cigarette at least two hours before going to bed
- Alcohol, which deteriorates the quality of your sleep.
- Products with caffeine (cola, coffee, tea) must be avoided at least six hours before going to bed.
The ideal meal to avoid insomnia will be fish, vegetables and white bread ending with a glass of warm milk (a stimulant of serotonin and melatonin, two hormones that make you fall asleep) and/or
a chamomile tea (it has relaxing virtues).
